All in-house

One thing we love about creating beautiful gardens is that we see the transformation of a space, from the initial site visit through to the placement of the final stone. We handle initial consultations and planning, design, site clear and excavation, construction and then the satisfaction of handover, all in-house.

So you can rest assured knowing there will be a consistent, high level of quality throughout the entire project. It also means there is little chance of any miscommunication.

Creative design

Every garden we design is unique. We take the clients brief, local climate and the dwelling the garden will be up against all very seriously in the planning phase.

There is a lot involved when it comes to creating a well designed garden. A garden is not just a handful of random plants, or a pavement to put a table on; A garden should be a carefully considered space. We believe it should be an extension of your home. A place you are drawn to. A place to rest and reset. A place to entertain and to make memories. A place of wonder and inspiration.

Passion for quality

This passion came about first through our love for natural materials within a garden. For us, using locally quarried stone, hardwood timbers and natives plants has always been important. Turns out the quality of these materials are pinnacle in the landscaping world. There are a few reasons for this:

  1. These materials age well. In fact we’d say they actually increase in beauty as they age. This makes them timeless in a garden setting. There are plenty of manufactured materials out there that may look flashy and in trend. However they do not age well, rather they can fade and become outdated in only a few years.

  2. Harmony with the local landscape. Souring key materials locally ensures the garden ties in effortlessly with the local landscape. Our gardens certainly have some wow factor due to creative design and skilled craftsmanship but they are not in your face. Our aim is that they complement the surrounding landscape.

  3. Durability. Apart from their natural beauty, the materials we love to use are also extremely durable and require little maintenance. Upon completion, our gardens will require love and attention as they establish, this is the case with any garden. However, the built structures will not require a lot of upkeep. These materials are well suited to the harsh weather conditions they will be up against. Hardwood timbers will naturally silver off, lichen and natural weathering will add charm to stone features and thoughtfully selected plants will thrive in their new home.

Attention to every detail

You may hear this term get thrown around a bit, we really are passionate about getting the fine details of each garden just right. It is important to us for two reasons:

  1. The satisfaction! There is a lot of fulfilment in perfecting the small details of a job. It allows us to step back at the end of each day and really be pleased with our work.

  2. It makes the job. A great design doesn’t necessarily mean a great garden. It takes patience, craftsmanship and awareness as the project progresses to really create a beautiful garden.

So, why choose us?

Well, if what you’ve read is getting you excited for your garden project, then I think we’re a good match! We aren’t going to be right for everyone though. As you would’ve come to understand, we have a certain style and can appreciate it’s not for everyone.

It’s not our goal to take on every project that presents itself. Instead, we want to work with clients that hold similar values to ours. When the clients values align with ours, beautiful gardens are created. To be enjoyed now and by future generations.
