About Us
Located in Willunga on the Fleurieu Peninsula, Dowie Designs focus is on creating high end, well thought out and designed gardens. We specialise in creating landscapes from start to finish. Starting with an initial consult to understand the vision of each client and their garden, through to detailed designs and onsite construction. We work closely with each client to ensure the garden of their dreams is achieved.
A Brief History
Dowie Designs planted its roots in 2014, with two brothers at the helm — Elliot and Josiah Dowie. Back then, they were cutting their teeth (and a lot of slate) at the Willunga Slate Quarry. While they loved their time there, they weren’t content with just harvesting slate — they soon began using it to flex their creativity (and muscles). From slate walls and floors, their passion for designing and building beautiful gardens began to take shape.
Fast forward 12+ years, and that passion has grown into creating high-end outdoor spaces that stand out for their quality and style. They’ve traded quarrying for designing and constructing dream gardens with some serious wow factor (though you might still catch them at the slate quarry from time to time).
